Silk and bamboo fibres move softly,
layered with golden threads that catch the light.
Through stitching and time, the essence of a tree emerges—
its bark, its memory, its quiet resilience.
I am not native to this forest,
yet I cast threads like roots,
seeking ground, claiming space.
In fibre and patience,
belonging is slowly woven.
